Privacy & Advertising
Claude AI Dev is an unofficial community resource. This page explains the limited third-party services used by the site and the controls available to visitors.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve its documentation. The analytics configuration anonymizes IP addresses.
Advertising
The site uses limited Adsterra display advertising by default. You can disable it at any time below. Browser-level Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: 1 signals disable advertising automatically.
Our placement rules are intentionally constrained:
- blog articles may show one 320×50 banner before the article body and another near the end of long articles;
- documentation pages may show one dismissible 320×50 banner near the bottom of the viewport;
- banners load after primary page content and only when their placement is visible or close to the viewport;
- the homepage, blog index, and navigation pages remain ad-free;
- Popunder, Social Bar, forced redirects, and automatic interstitial formats are not used by this site.
Adsterra may process device, network, and interaction data under its own policies when a banner is loaded. Review Adsterra's privacy policy for details.
Your advertising preference
Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under claudeai-ad-consent-v1.
Current advertising preference: enabled by default
Use Use default to clear your saved choice. Clearing this site's browser storage has the same effect. No advertising preference is sent to our server. Closing the documentation banner hides it for the remainder of the current browser session.
Third-party links
Links to external services are governed by those services' own privacy and security policies. Opening an external link may disclose standard request data such as your IP address and browser information to that destination.
Updates
This page may be updated when the site's analytics or advertising configuration changes. Last updated: August 27, 2026.
